Suzanne Davidson, Cat Caregiver
I take pride in the "crazy cat lady" title, having spent many years developing my love of felines. As a teenager in Los Angeles, I adopted some feral kittens while my family was away, and they returned home to find we were now a cat family! It wasn't long before all the neighborhood cats knew where they could get a good meal, and earning the trust of shy wild ones became a favorite pastime. Since then, I've loved finding rescued cats forever homes where their only cares are getting a nice brushing or treat.
After moving to San Francisco in 2005, I volunteered at the SFSPCA for a few years, both at the holiday adoption windows and the main adoption center, helping socialize and comfort cats waiting for a forever home or living their final years under hospice care. A career change had me looking for new opportunities outside the corporate world, and I found a new way to apply my love of cats by providing care and companionship professionally. After working with a team of cat sitters, I started my own business to provide cat care services, Purry Creatures.
During my visits giving cats the care they need, I am always enchanted by their unique personalities, and I try to capture their spirit in my photography. Each picture here on the Purry Creatures website was taken by me while caring for that special feline friend.
In 2019, I adopted a beautiful ginger lady named Butterscotch, whose sweetness makes my home complete. I look forward to meeting your own purring family members and being their friend while you're away.
Meet our Purry Creatures Cat Ambassador, Butterscotch! This ginger lady carries important responsibilities within our cat care organization, including singing reveille each morning, quality purr provider, sunbeam inspector, lap warmer, and chasing the red dot. She specializes in yoga poses and leg extensions that would make a ballerina envious, and her cat-like reflexes allow her to arrive at her bowl mere moments after fresh kibble is poured. Butterscotch has earned her five-meow rating in the Purry Creatures family.
